Result fraud
Please not that the following scenarios are not allowed:
- Players paying (bribing) organizers directly to upgrade an event
- Not reporting the full standings, to avoid paying the full fees (as some players might not care about points).
- Creating fake events to farm points
We reserve the right to permanently ban players or organizers violating these rules.
Participating events can be run in any Magic format, including formats not officially supported by Wizards of the Coast.
If your format is not listed on our website, please let us know and we will add it.
- The event must be publicly advertised and anyone must be able to participate (or qualify for the event).
- The event must be played with physical Magic: The Gathering cards.
- The event must be held in real life (no online events).
- At least 4 players must participate and play at least one round.
- We expect you to follow the recommended number of rounds according to the Magic Tournament Rules. If you wish to run an event with more rounds, please contact us.
- We expect
events to be played at REL Competitive with at least 1 judge present. All other events can be played at any REL, meaning judges are not required and may also play in the tournament.
We are using a combination of different methods to prevent cheating:
- Players are required to use their real name. This allows fellow participants to verify the correct players attend.
- For Regular events, only the player's best 40 results count.
- We have a fraud detection system that checks events and results for suspicious patterns.
We reserve the right to lifetime ban any player or organization on our platform that we suspect of cheating.
In Switzerland the Unity League is already an established series with a huge community supporting the project. Key figures Jari Rentsch, Antoine Albertelli, and Dae-Jin Rhee are taking the next step in running a EU-wide series and founding a company.
